Safe Storage of Vaccines

Vaccines are a hot topic that is discussed widely in first world countries, from concerned parents to medical professionals and more. Regardless of where you stand on vaccines and whether or not they should be administered to children, we can all easily agreed that vaccines are complex and delicate substances, and for that reason they should be manufactured, stored, and administered with extreme care. That being said, how much do you know about the journey that vaccines go on before they are given to a human being? How are they stored, and how long are they “good for” before they should be thrown out instead of given as a vaccination? It is important to understand these questions when debating vaccines.

Vaccines that are not stored in a pharmacy grade refrigerator are at the risk of losing their potency and effectiveness. If there is an error in the handling and storage process that is involved in vaccines, that can cost not only people who are injected with an ineffective vaccine
